Central Plains Awards night on May 10 brought smiles to the faces of three freshmen Ag-FFA students as they were awarded the top Greenhands of the Central Plains FFA Chapter.

Standouts as they were, the three were cumulative of six top 10 finishes in three contest areas of Nursery-Landscape, Poultry, and Livestock, each being on the Honor Roll and each recognized as three of the top five salesmen in the chapter’s fundraiser.

“They, along with a few others in the class, have been the nucleus a what appears as a bright future for the Central Plains Ag-FFA program,” said Wayne DeWerff, ag instructor and FFA advisor.
