Vehicles driven by two Great Bend motorists collided Thursday evening at the intersection of U.S. 281 and NE 30 Road, 1.5 miles north of Great Bend.
The Kansas Highway patrol reports that a 2014 Kia Rio driven by Itzel Garcia, 21, stopped on NE 30 Road facing west at 7:35 p.m., then pulled out attempting a left-hand turn onto U.S. 281. A 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Hunter Ruppe, 17, was northbound on U.S. 281 and was struck by the Taurus.
