LARNED — Traffic will be limited during repair to the Pawnee River bridge deck on U.S. 56 on the south side of Larned.

The Kansas Department of Transportation project is scheduled to begin Monday, Aug. 12, and end around Nov. 18. Crews will be patching and overlaying the bridge deck.

Traffic on the two-lane bridge will be restricted to one 10-foot lane and controlled by traffic signals. Motorists should expect delays. Advance warning signs will give notice of the narrow lane width through the work zone. Wide loads should use other routes during construction.

PCiRoads, of St. Michael, Minn., is the main contractor on the $261,999 project.
