USD 428 board to meet Monday

Great Bend USD 428 District Education Center.

The Unified School District 428 Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. Monday at the District Education Center, 201 S. Patton Rd.

The agenda includes:

• A second reading and approval of the BOE policy. The first reading took place at the Dec. 12, 2022, meeting.

• Approval of the Panther Athletic Center gymnasium floor refinishing.

• An Energy Efficiency Study update.

Last November, The board approved Willdan Performance Engineers to conduct an energy efficiency study to investigate savings of various identified energy conservation measures. That study is complete.

• Presentation of 2021-2022 business audit from AdamsBrown LLC.
