Enrollment dates are quickly approaching for USD 428 schools.
Elementary school enrollment is 8 a.m. to noon on Aug. 5, and 1 to 7 p.m. on Aug. 6, at the various attendance centers.
Great Bend Middle School seventh-grade students will enroll from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 5. Eighth graders will enroll from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 6.
Enrollment for Great Bend High School is as follows on Aug. 5: Seniors 8 a.m. to noon; and freshmen, sophomores and juniors, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Aug. 5 and  6.
Helping Hands Preschool enrollment is from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Aug. 5.
Textbook fees due at enrollment are $40 for preschool and kindergarten, $55 for grades 1-8 and $85 for grades 9-12. Textbook fees are for book rentals only. If any book is lost, stolen or damaged, the cost of the book will be assessed.
A high school student activity pass for $25 is optional and due at enrollment. The amount may be included with the check for textbook fees. Other student expenditures that are due after enrollment may include towel fees, club fees, graduation fees and project fees for woodworking, metals, vocational agriculture and some art projects.
