The Great Bend USD 428 Education Foundation won’t have its annual Dinner and Auction Fundraiser this year, but board members said they hope the public will continue to support the innovative ideas of teachers with a donation.
One hundred percent of donations to the Foundation support mini-grants to teachers to fund ideas that include classroom technology and hands-on learning kits that are outside of the regularly budgeted items.
Donations may be mailed to the District Education Center, 201 S. Patton Road, Great Bend, KS 67530. During the Golden Belt Community Foundation’s Giving Tuesday event, which continues through Tuesday, Nov. 30, donations may also be made online at GoldenBeltGives.org/USD428EducationFoundation.
