Unified School District 428 now has a presence on Facebook.
The school district will be using the social media to disseminate news about upcoming events, schedule changes, cancellations and other important reminders.
 To receive the information, “like” the district at www.facebook.com/pages/USD-428/129564363799160. Or, from a individual’s Facebook page, type in USD 428 in the search and “like” from there. (They are the ones with the USD 428 logo.)
The district would also like patrons recommend it to all of Facebook friends who may also want access to our information.
District officials said they see this as one more avenue to get their message out.
