Birds carved by Great Bend artist Robert Button fill a display case at the Great Bend Public Library. Examples of works by Button and other members of the Golden Belt Wood Carvers’ Club can be seen at the library this week during regular hours. Guests are also welcome to visit the wood carvers, who meet from 7-9 p.m. every Thursday, unless it’s a holiday, at the Great Bend Senior Center
