City of Great Bend Street Department crews will begin work today on U.S. 56 and Kansas to repair an area that has sunken. They will have traffic control set up to one lane for west-bound traffic. 

“We expect the work to take approximately two weeks for the labor and the time for the concrete to set up for traffic,” said Public Works Director Jason Cauley. “Please be attentive and aware as we work to make repairs in the area. Thank you for your patience.”
