Great Bend man arrested on drug charges

Barton County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Great Bend man Monday afternoon when a traffic stop led to the discovery of multiple suspected narcotics.

According to Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir, at about 2:30 p.m. Monday, a Barton County Sheriff’s deputy stopped a red Dodge Dakota in the 300 block of NW 40 Road, just northwest of Great Bend. The driver was identified as Michael “Spike” Croslin, 51, of Great Bend. Further investigation allegedly revealed Croslin was in possession of several controlled substances. Deputies discovered suspected methamphetamine, crack cocaine, LSD and fentanyl.

Croslin was transported to the Barton County Jail without incident where he was booked on requested charges of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, possession of hallucinogenic drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving while revoked. Croslin is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
