A Great Bend resident who was reported missing on Tuesday was found later that evening, his sister reports.

Richard Stanley, age 60, left Great Bend the morning of Aug. 6 but did not show up for an appointment he was going to, prompting family members to file a missing person report with the Great Bend Police Department.

A post on Facebook said the car he was in was seen in Hutchinson that morning but he was not.

Around 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Stanley’s sister updated the post to say he had been found. “Apparently he was  in the hospital, even though they told me and other family members that he was not!” She thanked everyone for their support.
