Great Bend Fire and EMS

Great Bend Emergency Service made three ambulance runs on Friday, six on Saturday, and nine on Sunday. Great Bend Fire Department responded to one gas leak on Friday in the 5800 block of 16th St., and one false alarm on Sunday.

GBPD assisted BCSO with a traffic arrest at 11:52 p.m. at Washington St. and Lakin Ave.


Saturday Aug. 17

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:24 a.m. Saturday at Frey St. and Lakin Ave.

GBPD assisted BCSO with a traffic arrest at 3:52 a.m. in the 1100 block of Heizer St.

A theft was reported at 6:11 a.m. at 1315 10th St.

A theft was reported at 12:03 a.m. Sunday at 1411 McKinley St.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 8:26 a.m. in the 1000 block of Hubbard St.

GBPD assissted BCSO and KHP with an injury crash reported at 12 p.m. at W U.S. 56 and Railroad Ave., Barton County.

A theft of makeup was reported at 1;54 p.m. at 1215 Stone St.

A traffic arrest was executed at 3:36 p.m. in the 900 block of Odell St.

Criminal damages were reported at 10:02 p.m. at Braum’s, 4209 10th St.

Friday Aug. 16

A sex offense was reported at 10:48 a.m. Friday in the 1100 block of NW 80 Ave., Olmitz.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 4;19 p.m. in the 800 block of SE 50 Rd., Ellinwood.

The K-9 unit was utilized at 6:08 p.m. at 10th St. and Walnut St.

An injury crash was reported at 12 p.m. at W U.S. 56 and Railroad Ave., Barton County.

An injury crash was reported at 2:44 p.m. at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Rd.
