Great Bend Fire Department
Firefighters made five ambulance runs on Monday. There were no fires.

A book bag was stolen from Great Bend High School, 2027 Morton St., it was reported Monday.
A vehicle driven by Aaron Sanko was westbound in the 5900 block of Hemlock Dr. at 6:07 p.m. Monday and struck a vehicle driven by Martin Strecker, who was turning into a private drive.
Someone broke the back window of a vehicle on 17th St.

Barton County Sheriff
A vehicle struck the back of a vehicle that failed to stop at a stop sign on NE 190 Road and NE 90 Ave. (Odin blacktop and Beaver Corner) at 7:25 a.m. Monday.
Property was damaged when someone attempted a burglary at Triple T Electric, 109 N. Hirsch Ave., Ellinwood, it was discovered Monday.
A burglary at 495 SW 80 Ave. was reported Monday. Several items were stolen from a machine shed.
Theft of an item from 600 NE 30 Road was reported Monday.
A vehicle hit a deer in the 700 block of SE 20 Road (Two-Mile Blacktop) at 11:49 a.m. Monday. Kansas Highway Patrol responded.
A burglary in a barn at 472 SW 80 Ave. was reported Monday.
An identity theft case was taken Monday for money allegedly stolen from a checking account.
A car hit a deer on NW K-96 and NW 90 Ave. at 9:40 p.m. Monday.
