ELLSWORTH COUNTY - One person died Sunday morning when a vehicle rolled into a ditch on 1-70 northeast of Ellsworth.

According to Ellsworth County Sheriff Murray Marston, at shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday, Ellsworth County deputies and EMS, fire and rescue personnel responded to a report of an injury crash on I-70 at mile post 226 in Ellsworth County.  Upon arrival, responders found a 2019 Range Rover in the ditch. The driver was identified as 28-year-old Joseph Helvey of Ellsworth. A passenger in the vehicle, identified as 28-year-old Blair Helvey, also of Ellsworth, was pronounced dead at the scene. 

Marston said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
