Barton County Sheriff

A battery was reported Friday at Sunflower Diversified Services, 8823 4th St., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:49 p.m. Friday in the 300 block of Centre St., Pawnee Rock.

A fraud was reported at 166 NE 20 Ave., Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 11 a.m. Saturday at 65 Hilltop Circle Dr., Great Bend.

A structure fire was reported at 11:54 a.m. at 490 SE 58 Ave., Ellinwood.

The K-9 unit was called out to investigate a possible narcotics violation at 9:42 p.m. Saturday at 24th and Main, Great Bend.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:30 a.m. Sunday in the 800 block of NE 30 Road, Ellinwood, in a vehicle vs. cattle accident.

A burglary was reported at 1490 East U.S. 56, Ellinwood.

Fires were reported at 4:28 p.m. Sunday at 151 NE 10 Road, and at 4:33 p.m. at NE 20 Ave. and NE 3 Road, then NE 10 Ave. and NE 20 Road, and NE 10 Road and NE 70 Ave., all in rural Great Bend. The scene was cleared around 7 p.m.

A fire was reported at 9:15 p.m. Sunday at NE 90 Ave. and NE 10 Road, Ellinwood.

A search warrant was executed at 7:26 p.m. Monday at the Barton County Sheriff’s Office, 1416 Kansas Ave., Great Bend.

The K-9 unit was deployed at 11 p.m. Monday in the 100 block of South Main in Hoisington.


Great Bend Police

A battery was reported Friday at Sunflower Diversified Services, 8823 4th St., Great Bend. Great Bend Police Department took a case after one client reportedly spat on another client.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 2103 Washington St.

A domestic battery was reported at 12:55 a.m. Saturday at 2423 Forest Ave. James Delgadillo was arrested and released after posting bond.

An unknown vehicle hit a trash bin in the alley behind Charlie’s Place, 1109 Main, and left the area, shortly before 2 a.m.

Theft of a propane tank was reported at 816 2nd St.

A non-injury hit-and-run crash was reported at 2011 Hubbard St.

A K-9 unit was deployed to 24th and Canterbury Lane around 4 p.m. Saturday.

A case was taken after a narcotics violation was reported at 9:42 p.m. Saturday at 24th and Main.

An injury crash was reported at 12:47 a.m. Sunday at the Travel Lodge, 3200 10th St. At 1:02 a.m., Colby Hopkins was arrested at this location for obstruction, battery of a law enforcement officer, and pedestrian under the influence. Hopkins was released after posting bond.

A domestic criminal damage to property case was reported Sunday morning at 5942 Eisenhower Court.

A non-injury crash with minor damage was reported at 10:48 a.m. Sunday at GMS Motors (El Mexicano), 205 10th St.

A vehicle was leaking fuel at 1:16 p.m. at Walmart.

GBPD was asked to assist with traffic control after a fire was reported at 4:28 p.m. Sunday at 151 NE 10 Road, Great Bend.

A K-9 was called to Broadway and Williams Street at 7 p.m. Sunday.

A juvenile narcotics case was taken Sunday evening.

A theft was reported at Dollar General, 2400 10th St.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:59 p.m. Monday at 2nd and Main.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:55 p.m. Monday in the 5600 block of 10th St.
