Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend EMS had seven ambulance runs Wednesday. Great Bend firefighters responded to a garage fire at approximately 4:20 a.m. Wednesday in the 900 block of Jefferson St.


Great Bend Police 

A narcotics violation was reported at 3:48 a.m. Wednesday at Casey’s General Store, 2716 10th St. K9, Menta, was utilized on a traffic stop. Damien Clone was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and no drug tax stamp.

A two-vehicle non-injury crash was reported at 4:40 a.m. in the 900 block of Adams.

A domestic disturbance was reported at 1:38 p.m. at 2008 McKinley. Michael Warren was arrested and booked in lieu of bond.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:13 p.m. at Great Bend High School PAC, 2424 19th St.

A criminal damage was reported at 4 p.m. at 1212 Madison. Damage to vehicle tires was reported.

A theft was reported at 6:05 p.m. at 409 Chestnut St.

Found property was reported at 3:08 a.m. Thursday at Walmart, 3503 10th St. A green bike was booked into evidence.


Barton County Sheriff

A non-injury crash was reported at 2:08 p.m. Wednesday at NW 10 Ave. and NW 100 Road, Hoisington.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:49 p.m. at NE K-156 and NE 160 Ave.

A non-injury crash was reported at 6:38 p.m. at Barton Community College, 245 NE 30 Rd.
