Great Bend Fire/EMS

Emergency Medical Service made seven ambulance runs Monday. There were no fires.


Barton County Sheriff

A vehicle hit a deer at 1:43 a.m. Monday on West U.S. 56 at mile marker 197.

A non-injury crash was reported at 10:12 a.m. at NE 40 Ave. and NE 50 Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 12:12 p.m. at Western Ag Enterprises, 120 Patton Road.

A non-injury crash was reported at 1:32 p.m. in the 600 block of Baker Ave., Great Bend. GBPD also responded. 


Great Bend Police

A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday in the 1500 block of Van Fleet Lane.

A window on a vehicle at 5220 10th St. was damaged sometime overnight, it was reported Monday.

The steering wheel on a vehicle at 1718 Morphy St. was damaged.

A sexual battery was reported at a residence.

A non-injury crash was reported at 3:38 p.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church, 4100 Broadway Ave.

A possible fraud case was reported when a subject attempted to obtain funds from an individual’s bank account.

A non-injury crash was reported at 5:32 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 2701 24th St.

Criminal damage to property was reported at 2808 17th St.

A window was damaged on a residence at 1316 Warner Circle.

An officer attempted to contact a person walking in the 400 block of Almond Street at 10:55 p.m., and the individual fled.
