Great Bend Fire/EMS

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had four ambulance runs Wednesday. Firefighters confirmed one gas leak in the 2200 block of 30th Street. Kansas Gas Service was contacted.

Great Bend Emergency Medical Service had six ambulance runs Thursday. Firefighters responded to a report of smoke at a residence in the 1700 block of Lakin at approximately 6:24 p.m. Upon arrival, it was determined that the smoke was coming from a malfunctioning air conditioning unit and owners were notified.
