Great Bend Police arrested 22-year old Aaron Villalobos of Great Bend for possession of cocaine and driving while suspended Wednesday night following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, at approximately 7:03 p.m., GBPD officers stopped a white 1999 Ford Explorer in the 900 block of Morphy St. for a traffic violation.
During the stop, officers smelled the odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.
Villalobos, the driver of the vehicle, was operating the vehicle with a suspended driver’s license.
The vehicle was searched for illegal narcotics, based on the odor of burnt marijuana. In the course of the search, suspected cocaine and approximately $1,800 in cash were located and seized.
Villalobos was arrested and booked into the Barton County Jail in lieu of a $10,000 bond.
