Truck crashes on I-70

ELLSWORTH — A motorist from Butler, Mo., was injured Monday when the truck he was driving went off Interstate 70 in Ellsworth County, 4 miles east of K-232, Kansas Highway Patrol reports.
The crash occurred at 11:24 a.m. The 2001 Ford truck driven by Evan Michael Oltremare, 25, was westbound when it went into the median for an unknown reason. The pickup crossed back into the westbound lanes and then rolled an unknown number of times before coming to rest in the north ditch.
Oltremare was taken to Salina Regional Health Center. The Highway Patrol reports he was wearing a seat belt.
The truck was removed by Ellsworth Service Center.
