If you thought bigger tricks are better when skateboarding, then you havent seen Richie Jackson in action. - photo by Martha Ostergar
SKATEVILLE You may think the only way for the skating world to impress these days is for skaters to continually make all their tricks bigger and more death-defying.

Even we at Have You Seen This? have tried to impress you by posting videos of bigger and bigger tricks. Like this midair skateboard switcharoo, or this speeding downhill insanity, or this killer horizontal loop skate from skateboard great Tony Hawk.

Now its Richie Jacksons turn to impress, but his tricks arent about big air or speed. Jacksons tricks are about control. Stick with me here. Jackson uses the terrain under him in creative ways, but at the same time his skating looks effortless and graceful, not unlike an ice skater. But dont be fooled, he will still blow your mind. Youll just have to see this video to completely understand.

Despite Jacksons appearance which looks like he started skating in the 70s and got so distracted he forgot to buy new clothes his grace and control just might be the new cutting edge of skating.

Please note, even though the video is six minutes long, the last half is behind-the-scene footage and credits.
