CLARKSVILLE, Ind. "Stay Far Away From Geese, and Other Life Lessons," might not actually be the title of detective Ray Hall's memoirs, but after watching this video, you'll probably agree that it should be.
In this week's round of "unsuspecting man gets attacked by an angry animal," detective Hall from the Clarksville Police Department was taking a casual stroll back to the office when he was attacked by an angry goose. The terrifying and hilarious encounter was all caught on security camera footage that was then uploaded by the police department to YouTube.
According to the video's description, Hall had simply forgotten his keys and was walking outside when the local goose decided to attack. Hall unsuccessfully attempted to fight the goose off, ended up on the ground and later made a run for it through the sidewalk shrubbery.
I love this video, and I love Hall's reaction to the goose. I don't think any of us could say we would have fared better in a situation like this, and if you're not terrified of geese after watching this video, you're braver than me.
