If theres one thing to takeaway from the new teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, its that the force is strong in families.

The new trailer debuted Thursday morning at the Star Wars: Celebration event. It's packed with action shots, stormtroopers and favorite characters for both Star Wars fans and moviegoers in search of family-friendly entertainment to enjoy.

But the main theme of the trailer comes from the series hero Luke Skywalker, who says, in homage to Return of the Jedi, that the Force is strong with his family.

The force is strong in my family," he says. My father has it. I have it. My sister has it. You have that power, too.

Not much is known about the upcoming Star Wars film due out this Christmas, but its clear that the power of Skywalker's genealogy will play a role.
