While there are many house-flipping shows on HGTV, Fixer Upper takes the popularity cake largely because of Chip and Joanna Gaines. As a couple, they charm TV audiences with their transparency and their complete adoration for each other and what they do.

The Gaines have never been afraid to let their faith show. In a new I Am Second video, the duo openly talk about their commitment to each other and their devotion to God.

I was made for a reason, Joanna Gaines says in the video, and I need to let whatever God has created me for, that needs to be known. I dont need to stay hidden.

The couple also discuss how by knowing each other, they have drawn closer to God. When I caught her, I finally felt content for the first time in my life. I felt like I could be exactly who I was, Chip Gaines says. I have learned so much about order and structure and processes through my wife and God is all of those things to me now.

While Joanna taught him structure, Chip showed her how to have the confidence to walk by faith. My walk with God when I was little and all the way up into like my 20s was always: If you play by the rules, youll be blessed, she says. But then I met Chip and I feel like now its: When you take a step out in faith, when it makes absolutely no sense, I think thats where the greater reward is. Theres no telling where that will take you.

On their TV show, the Gaines promote family and religious values with their four children. Whether it is Chip bringing the kids by as Joanna is putting the finishing touches on a house, or it is a comment about their faith, the pair always show that family and faith are their top priorities. According to the video, the third season of Fixer Upper had more than 25 million viewers. The fourth season is set to air on HGTV on Nov. 29.

According to its website, I Am Second is designed to inspire people to live for God and others. The goal is to give hope and motivation to viewers by showing actors, musicians, business people and others dealing with everyday struggles that can be overcome with Gods help.
