Fuller House announced its season three premiere date on Monday, drawing a connection back to the shows predecessor, Full House."
The Netflix series third season premieres on Sept. 22, which is the 30th anniversary of the debut of Full House on ABC.
Series creator Jeff Franklin announced the decision to coordinate the premiere with the anniversary on Instagram.
It will features Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, among many other returning cast members.
Series originals John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier will make recurring appearances, according to Deadline.
Few details are known about the shows third season. But while the second season focused on different holidays, Bure revealed at the Kids' Choice Awards that the new season will take place in the summer.
"I've only read the first two episodes, but this whole season is going to be about summer fun," Bure told E! News.
Sweetin, who plays Stephanie on the show, will likely have a leg injury after she broke her ankle since last season.
Bure said Sweetin's injury will likely be written into the show.
"There's no hiding that I can't walk," Sweetin said, according to E! News. "And I can only be a houseplant in so many episodes where I'm just stuck somewhere."
