Barbara and Richard enjoyed traveling with their local camping club after Richard retired and were able to attend many gatherings of Richard’s USS Idaho BattleShip group at various locations across the country.

After moving to Lecompton, she was able to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Whenever the little great grands were around, she lit up. She loved reading to and playing with them. She was happiest when one of them was on her lap or in the room!
