KELLER, Texas — Berneice Rachel Hillman, 85, passed away Nov. 2. She was born Berneice Rachel Nuss in Susank on Sept. 3, 1925. On Oct. 2, 1943, she married Frank Guy Hillman.

Berneice is survived by her children, Sharon Berneice Hillman, Karen Rae and Richard Thomas Askay, Steven Guy Hillman, Shelly Irene and Billy Wayne Pritchard, and Michael Don Hillman; her grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Chandler, Shannon Rachael Pavek, Jeremy Allen Bell, Casey Dawn Armstrong, Kevin Armstrong, Sara Irene Hillman, Bonnie Berneice Hillman, Cole Riley Hillman, Samantha Elise Hillman and Melissa Jai Hillman; her great-grandchildren, Britin Sophia Krug, Clay Ryan Chandler, Aden James Pavek and Jackson Richard Pavek; and her soon-to-be great-great-grandchild, Mae. She is also survived by her sisters, Irene Ledford, Ruth Critser, Ruby Manwellier and Virginia Harmony, and her brother, Ray Nuss. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Guy Hillman; sister, Josephine Sutton; and brothers, Edward Nuss, Irwin Nuss, Roland Nuss, Clarence Nuss, Gerhardt Nuss and Wilbur Nuss.

Memorial arrangements will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Rhome Church of Christ, 170 West 1st St., Rhome, Texas, with Minister Roy Deavers officiating.
