PAWNEE ROCK — Beulah M. White, 95, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and school teacher for 17 years at Pawnee Rock, passed away Jan. 10 at Life Care Center in Andover. She was born Oct. 4, 1915, at Ford County, the daughter of Robert Channing and Maude Ethel (Alexander) Brink. She attended Bresee Theological College and Fort Hays State College to earn her teaching degree. She married Walter Reford White Dec. 31, 1945, at Great Bend. He died Feb. 28, 1998. She was an elementary school teacher in Shannon, Sellens Creek, Susank District 103, and USD 495 Larned School Districts. She was a Wichita area resident since 2002, coming from Pawnee Rock, where she lived since 1959.

Mrs. White was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Great Bend, since 1959.

Survivors include one son, Charles H. White and wife Carolyn of Andover; four grandchildren, Cory White, Curtis White, Colin White, and Cristin (White) Jones; and three great-grandchildren, Garret Jones, Grace Jones and Gage Jones. She was preceded in death by one son, Verlin Merle White; two brothers, Robert Brink and Charles Brink; and four sisters, Faye Wyatt, Ethyl Caddell, Mary Louise Pinkston and Edith Hein.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday at First Church of the Nazarene in Great Bend, with the Rev. Josh Foster officiating. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Pawnee Rock Cemetery, Pawnee Rock. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home and from 10:30 a.m. to service time Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to First Church of the Nazarene, in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
