ABILENE — Brooklyn Lee Debenham, 5, of Abilene, passed away on Oct. 23, after a fatal farm accident. Brooklyn always had a smile on her face and brought laughter and happiness to everyone she was around. She had her dads smile, her moms toes and the prettiest blue eyes. Brooklyn loved singing, dancing, playing dress-up, and playing with her sisters.    
Brooklyn is survived by her loving parents, Brian and Chantell; sisters, Maci and Zoey; grandparents, Leon and Brenda Lee; Aunt and Uncle Jeremy and Kari Lee; Aunt Meghan Lee; grandparents, Steve and Shelly Debenham; Aunt and Uncle Bonnie and Loren Reiter; cousins, Triston and Hudson Reiter; Uncle Nathan Lundquist; Uncle Brian Lundquist; cousins, Ashley and Jordan VanNess; great-grandfather, Harold and Lorene Debenham; great-grandfather, Dean Annis; great-grandmother, Geraldine Lee; and many great-uncles, great-aunts, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her Uncle Jeremiah Lee; grandmother, Marcia Debenham; great-grandmother, Elenore Debenham; great-grandmother Norma Annis; great-grandmother, Betty Annis; and her great-grandfather Barnie Lee.
Brooklyn’s wonderful life will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on Monday at the First United Methodist Church in Abilene with the Reverends John and Jenny Collins officiating. Her final resting place will be at the Green Ridge Cemetery near Industry. Brooklyn’s family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
