GLENMORA, LA. — Butch McNett, 40, of Glenmora, La., entered eternal rest on Sept. 24, 2010 in his residence. He was born on June 17, 1970 in Salina, to the union of Champion Fredrick McNett and Marie Alice McNett. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, uncle, coach and friend. He was one of the biggest Dallas Cowboys Football fan. He loved coaching his sons in football and baseball. He also loved hunting, fishing, car racing, and was a drummer at heart.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Stella McNett of Glenmora, La.; three sons, Travis McNett, Champion McNett, II and Jesse McNett, all of Glenmora, La.; two daughters, Natasha McNett and Marie McNett, both of Glenmora, La.; mother, Marie McNett of Great Bend; one granddaughter, Rei Alice Guillory of Glenmora, La.; five brothers, Marvin McNett of Sylvia, Fredrick McNett and Raymond McNett, both of Great Bend, and Shawn Melder and Erik Melder of Glenmora, La.; two sisters, Catherine Johnson of Great Bend, and Janice Melder of Glenmora, La. His father, Champion Fredrick McNett, precedes him in death.

Funeral services were held on Tuesday at the Glenmora Baptist Church with the Rev. Jeremy Laurence officiating under the guidance of White Oaks, Oakdale, La.
