GREAT BEND — Charlie M. Ross, Jr, passed away Friday Aug. 21 at the Newton Medical Center, after a long illness.
Charlie was born Nov. 21, 1943, son of the late Colonel and Mrs. Charlie Ross Sr.
He is survived by longtime life partner, Ben Wooding; sisters, Danny R. Fleming, Villa Rica, Ga.; Betty R. Hawthorne and Mary J. Ross, both of Wichita; a brother, John C. Ross, Carrolton, Ga. and several nieces and great nieces and nephews.
Celebration of his Life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday Aug. 26 at Bryant Funeral Home with Sister Renee Dreiling officiating. Cremation has taken place.
A memorial has been established with the Golden Belt Humane Society. Contributions may be left at Bryant Funeral Home, 1425 Patton Road, Great Bend KS, 67530.
