Craig Alan Ramsey, 61, passed away Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026 in Ellsworth County, Kan. He was born Jan. 12, 1965 in Great Bend, Kan. to Wendell and Eleanor (Siewert) Ramsey. Craig married Patricia Nienke in Great Bend on Aug. 16, 1986. He retired from the U.S. Army in 2008 after 21 years of service.

Craig is survived by his children, Jason Ramsey of Sanford, N.C., Jamie Ramsey of Bellingham, Wash., and Dustin Ramsey of Mission, Kan.; brother Steve Ramsey (Mary) of Jenera, Ohio; and sister-in-law Ellen Kempke (Don) of Kanopolis, Kan. He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife Patricia.

Visitation: 1-8 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, 2026 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth. Family will be present 6-8 p.m. to greet visitors. Funeral service: 10 a.m., Friday, Sept. 18, 2026 at Parsons Funeral Home with burial following at Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
