Debra Ann Rumble 1955 - 2011

LEAWOOD — Debra Ann Rumble, 56, died Nov. 8 at her home in Leawood. Born May 20, 1955, in Manhattan, she was the daughter of Robert G. and Jean E. (Antenen) Rumble. Growing up in Great Bend, she was a graduate of Great Bend High School and obtained her Master of Library Science degree from Kansas State University. A resident of Leawood, she was a retired librarian for the Turner School District. Debbie was devoted to her cats, Maddie and Murphy, who along with her family and friends will miss her.

Ms. Rumble was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Delta Delta Delta Sorority at Kansas State University.

Survivors include her mother. Jean Rumble, of Great Bend; a brother, Brad Rumble and his wife Karen of Gladstone, Mo.; two nieces, Rachelle Gordon and her husband Kevyn of Lee’s Summit, Mo., and Kenzie Rumble of Kansas City, Mo.; and a great-niece, Lynley Gordon. She was preceded in death by her father.

A private family service and inunrment will be held. Inurnment will be held at the Great Bend Cemetery. There will be no visitation as cremation has taken place.
