CLAFLIN — Diana Beth Kaeberle, 57, died April 25, at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. Born Feb. 5, 1958, in Greenville, Miss., she was the daughter of Donald and Reba (Atkins) Beckum. On June 20, 1992, she married Steven Kaeberle in Wilson. A 25 year Barton County resident, living most recently in Claflin, she was a secretary for Barton Community College.
Mrs. Kaeberle was a member of AA. She enjoyed spending time in her yard, gardening and tending to her flowers. She also had a love for the holiday season, enjoying Christmas decorating. Above all, she had a special love for her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Steven Kaeberle, of the home; two daughters, Cindy Ochs and husband Brett and Laura Mason and husband Tom Giersch, both of Great Bend; seven grandchildren, Joshua Crawford, Stephen Crawford, Tommy Kaeberle, Christian Mason, Elizabeth Giersch, Analeah Ochs, and Chason Ramsey; and nieces and nephews, Cretia Patterson, Nicole Dyer, Beau Beckum, Ashlee Dunbar. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Donald Beckum; and a sister, Debrah Tillman.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Bryant Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Dozier officiating. Burial will be at the Great Bend Cemetery North. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the Diana Kaeberle expense fund, in care of the funeral home.
