TOPEKA — Dolores Kufahl, 89, passed away June 17th. Born Jan. 23, 1924 in Wheaton, she was the daughter of Arthur and Dora (Brunkow) Teske. On Jan. 5, 1944, she married Verle Kufahl at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Wheaton.
Survivors include her husband, Verle Kufahl of Topeka; three sons, Lyndon (Anne) Kufahl of Topeka, Bruce (Lorie) Kufahl of Galveston Texas, and Brent Kufahl of Topeka; a brother, Sheldon Teske of Topeka; a sister, Verla Allen of Hemet Calif.; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Stan Kufahl; and two brothers, Eldon Teske and Dale Teske.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Rd Topeka. Interment will be at 4:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery in Duluth. Visitation will be from 1 to 1:45 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to Faith Lutheran Church sent in care of the funeral home.
