Donald Raymond McLaughlin, 65, died August 5, 2015 at his home in Great Bend. He was born June 18, 1950 at Great Bend, the son of Joseph Raymond and Grace Kathleen (McCarthy) McLaughlin.
He was a retired photographer for Wal-mart. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his daughter, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include one daughter, Kallie McLaughlin of Junction City; four brothers, Kenneth M. McLaughlin and his wife Arlinda of Pinedale, WY, Lawrence E. McLaughlin of Fort Worth, Texas, Daniel J. McLaughlin and his wife Julie of Olathe, and Patrick C. McLaughlin and his wife Lesley of Overland Park; one sister, Kathleen A. McLaughlin-Rathbun and her husband John of Lawrence; and a host of nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday August 8, 2015 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Louis Trung Dinh Hoang officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to the GBHS Golf Team, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
