Donald V. Fabricius, 80, died Jan. 18 at Kansas Medical Center in Andover. He was born Aug. 26, 1930, at Graham County, the son of Victor and Alice (Chalfant) Fabricius. He married Rosalie P. "Rosie" Billinger Sept. 26, 1959, at St. Anthony Catholic Church at St. Peter. He was owner and operator of Arrow Testing, and had been a Great Bend resident since 1962.

Mr. Fabricius was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Patrick Catholic Church, B.P.O. Elks Lodge No. 1127, American Legion Argonne Post 180, and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111, all of Great Bend; and Knights of Columbus Council 2100, Olmitz. He loved playing cards and dominoes. He was a loving husband, father and papa.

Survivors include his wife, of the home; one son, Tim Fabricius and wife Robin of Great Bend; three daughters, Vicki Munsinger and husband Terry of Wichita, Karla Allford and husband Evan of Edmond, Okla., and Rhonda Brack and husband Scott of Wichita; and six granchildren, Abby Allford, Trent Munsinger, Katelyn Munsinger, Christopher Collicott, Zach Brack and Taylor Brack. He was preceded in death by one brother, Cecil Fabricius.

Vigil service with Knights of Columbus Rosary will be at 7 p.m., Thursday at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Reginald A. Urban, officiant. Private family inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Prince of Peace Parish, in care of the funeral home.
