GREAT BEND — Dorothy Ann Cannon, 60, died Feb. 26, 2013 at Hays Medical Center.
She was born June 6, 1952 at Great Bend, the daughter of Sextos G. and Irene (Weiss) Leon.
Mrs. Cannon was a longtime Great Bend resident, living in Pampa, Texas for six years. She was a dietary aide and homemaker.
Survivors include four sons, Manford Cannon, Salina; Richard Cannon and his wife Laura, Great Bend; David Cannon of the home; Dennis Cannon, Jr., Great Bend; a daughter, Lisa Rugan and her husband Mike, McPherson; three brothers, Bobbie Lee Leon of the home; Robert Dean Leon of the home; Richard Joe Leon, Salina; a half-brother, Lawrence Leon, Colorado Springs, Colo.; three sisters, Juanita Clawson, Great Bend; Gloria Leon, Great Bend; Carolyn Rucker, Pampa, Texas; a half-sister, Eloise Leon, Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Benny Leon and Tony Leon; and two sisters, Diana Larkin, Barbara Ann Leon, and a half-sister, Petra Leon.
Funeral Service is scheduled at 2 p.m., Saturday at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Don Paden officiating. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Great Bend.
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bryant Funeral Home.
Memorial Funds are suggested to the Dorothy Cannon Funeral Expense Fund, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
