HOISINGTON — Dwight C. Martin, 73, died March 21, at his home in Hoisington.  Born Aug/ 12, 1941, in Ransom, he was the son of Clade and Sylvia (Everhardt) Martin.  Dwight graduated from Utica High School,Utica.  He retired from the Missouri Pacific Railroad as a train dispatcher, after working there for more than 40 years.  Dwight was a member of the Hoisington Masonic Lodge #331, ISIS Shrine in Salina, Russell Shrine Club, Sunflower Shrine Club in Great Bend, and was a former president of the Hoisington Chamber of Commerce.  On Feb. 8, 1964, he married Carolyn Kuder in Tribune.  They were married for 27 years and then later divorced.  
Survivors include three children, Shelley Martin of Great Bend, Jodi Hill and husband Rob of Olathe, and Darin Martin and wife Sarah of Claflin; six grandchildren, Justin Hamit, Kailee Hamit, Tim Hill, Hope Hill, Randall Martin, and Aislee Martin; and two great grandchildren, Hunter Hamit and Taylynn Lloyd.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Verl Martin, and an infant granddaughter, Quinlee Martin.  
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 28, at Nicholson-Ricke Chapel. Inurnment will be at 2 p.m., Saturday at Utica Cemetery, Utica.  Friends may sign the book 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., today through Friday. Cremation has taken place.  Memorials may be made to the Sunflower Shrine Travel Fund or the Dwight C. Martin Memorial Fund in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, P.O.
