Eleanor H. Ramsey of Jenera, Ohio, and formerly of Great Bend, died on Friday, November 13, 2020.

She was born on June 20, 1930, in Danville, Illinois to Walter and Anne Siewert. She married her husband Wendell in Watsonville, California on August 4, 1961, and they enjoyed 35 years of marriage together until his death in 1997.

Eleanor is survived by her sons Steve (Mary) Ramsey of Jenera, Ohio, and Craig of Rock Island, Illinois. She is survived as well by six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Eleanor was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law Patricia.

A graduate of Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, Eleanor was a music teacher and homemaker, and faithful member of her church. She is best remembered as a violinist, who played many years in the Barton County Community College orchestra, for local high school musicals, and for Sunday morning worship services; and she loved every minute of it.
