WICHITA — Gary Wayne Boy, age 68 years, of Wichita, Kan., passed away on Saturday morning, Dec. 17, 2022 at Meridian Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Wichita, Kan. Gary was born on Aug. 16, 1954 at Sterling, Kan. to Lawrence and Frances (Fisher) Boy. He farmed near Raymond, Kan. and later worked for Tim Fischer farming near St. John, Kan. Gary loved both crop work and livestock with a passion. He also loved to play Bingo, and had a great sense of humor while being very protective of his family and friends.

Survivors include three sisters Janet (and John) Hutchinson of San Angelo, Texas, and Carolyn Valenzuela and Anna M. Boy, both of Great Bend, Kan.; 13 nieces and nephews Rodger, Chris, and Roy Woosley, Jamey Perkins, Benjamin, Susan Valenciana, Josh, Miquel, and Andrew Valenzuela, Ashley and Chris Childers, and Jordan and Marissa Boy; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and a younger brother, Brian E. Boy on Oct. 12, 2022.

Cremation has been chosen and there will be a Memorial Service and inurnment held at a later date. The family requests that Memorial Contributions be designated to the Gary W.
