George Veprus, 97, died June 16 at Cherry Village Nursing Home in Great Bend. He was born on Feb. 18, 1916, in Lithuania. He was a longtime resident of Great Bend.
Mr. Veprus was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and Central Kansas Association for the Visually Impaired (CKAVI).
He had a sister, Helen.
There will be no services or visitation at this time. Cremation has taken place. Memorials are suggested to the Central Kansas Association for the Visually Impaired (CKAVI), in care of the funeral home. Condolences may be sent and notice viewed at www.bryantfh.net.
