Iris Langley, 77, of Great Bend, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2017, in Wichita.
Iris Odessa (Abrams) Langley was born April 27, 1940 in Elgin, Oklahoma, to John Odis and Iris Veta (Page) Abrams. She graduated from Elgin High School in 1958. Iris worked in the Finance and Accounting department on Ft. Sill for 30 years.
After retiring, she loved to travel and garden. When she finished traveling, Iris moved to Great Bend in 2006.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Langley, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, John Abrams of Edmond.

Graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 2, at the Elgin Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Fletcher Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Elgin Community Library. An Online Guestbook is available at FletcherAndElginFuneral.com.
