LINCOLN — James William Grandy, 63, of Lincoln, passed away peacefully on March 1, at Salina Regional Health Center, Salina. He was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Great Bend, the son of the late Iva Mae (Vesper) and Harold Lee Grandy.Survivors include his wife, Paula I. (Williams) Grandy of the home; two daughters, Leann Thomas, of Larned, and Deana Peterson and husband Larry, of Larned; two sons, Joe Burgardt, of Smith Center, and Heath Burgardt and wife Heather, of Hays; two brothers, Charles Grandy and wife Jewell of Wisconsin, and Gene Grandy of Wichita; 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Blackburn.
