LUCAS — Jean S. Bates, 75, died Dec. 3, 2016. Born July 10, 1941, in Lucas, he was a farmer.
Survivors include two sons, Shawn Bates of Great Bend and Troy Bates of Brookville; a sister, Lola Brant of Lucas; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 9 at the Lucas United Methodist Church. Burial will be at the Lucas Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to the Methodist Church.
