BURDETT — Joel Raymond Ryan was born prematurely on Jan. 22, 2016. He was the son of Jason L. and Jenae L. Skelton Ryan. He died Jan. 24, 2016, at 2 days old at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. He was a tiny little guy who made a huge impact on the lives of those he touched.
Survivors include his parents; maternal grandparents, Jason and Renae Skelton, of Larned; paternal grandparents, Jim and Lynn Ryan, of Burdett; maternal great-grandparents, Larry and Janet Skelton, of Larned and Tom and Lois Lacock, of Rossville; paternal great-grandmothers, Virginia Ryan of Spearville and Kathy Sherlock of Hollenburg; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal great grandfathers, Raymond Ryan and Jerry Still.
Graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at Brown’s Grove Cemetery in Burdett, with Father John Strasser presiding. Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, with family present from 5-7 p.m., at the mortuary.
