John P. Cedeno, 60, passed away Nov. 11, 2020, at his home in Great Bend. He was born June 18, 1960, at Lyons, to Joseph L. and Amelia (Aguilera) Cedeno. He married Karen Weathers Jan. 8, 1983 at Great Bend. She survives.
Coming from Lyons in 1983, John was a Great Bend resident. He was a storage field operator for Oneok Hydrocarbon, LP. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. He enjoyed making license plate art, 4 wheeling, going to swap meets, collecting guns, and traveling. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include, his wife, Karen Cedeno of the home; a son, Killian Cedeno and wife Jessica of Great Bend; a brother, James Cedeno and wife, Cathy of Lyons; a sister, Geriann Habiger and husband Virgil of Bushton; and two grandchildren, Kyson Cedeno, and Kenley Cedeno. He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Joseph Cedeno.
Visitation will be held from Noon to 9 p.m., Monday, Nov. 16, 2020, at Bryant Funeral Home, with Vigil service held at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2020, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, with Father Don Bedore presiding. Interment will be in the Great Bend Cemetery. The family requests those in attendance please wear masks and social distance.
