GODDARD — John W. Workman, 75, died Nov. 8 in Wichita. Born Sept. 22, 1937, in Minot, N.D., he was the son of Arthur Workman and Olga Knudtson. A former resident of Great Bend, he was a retired law enforcement officer.
Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Workman, of Goddard; two sons, David and Debbie Workman and Bill and Sherry Workman, both of Wichita; a daughter, Cindy and Brad Means of Goddard; two brothers, Darrell Workman of Donny Brook, N.D., and Donald Workman of Waco, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Aldersgate United Methodist church with Pastor Rick Thornton officiating. Memorials are suggested to Alzheimer’s Association or Harden Hospice of Kansas.
