Julie Dell Mauler, 52, died Jan. 25, 2016, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Born May 9, 1963, in Great Bend, she was the daughter of William M. and M. Jean (Pierce) Nething.
On Oct. 6, 1995, she married Michael Mauler in Lake Samish, Wash. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was a homemaker and longtime employee of Superior Essex.
Mrs. Mauler was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Campfire Girls and Job’s Daughters, all of Great Bend.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; two stepsons, Michael Mauler Jr. and Trenton Mauler, both of La Crosse; three brothers, Thomas E. Nething and his wife Kyla of Denver, Colo., Laurence L. Nething and his wife Geri of Larned, and Matt P. Nething and his wife Melody of Atlanta, Ga.; one grandson, Michael Mauler III; and favorite companion, Remington. She was preceded in death by an infant brother, Martin Nething.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, at the First United Methodist Church in Great Bend with the Rev. Lennie Maxwell officiating. Burial will be at St. Ann Catholic Cemetery in Olmitz. Visitation will be held from 1-9 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Bryant Funeral Home.
