TUCSON, Ariz./LARNED — Kathleen Marie Stiles, 69, passed away Oct. 20 in Tucson, Ariz. at home surrounded by her family and friends. Born April 26, 1943, in Greensburg, she was the daughter of Don and Ella Wells Byer. A longtime resident of Larned area, moving to Tucson, Ariz. in 2003, she was a retired Licensed Mental Health Technician at the Larned State Hospital. On July 6, 1960, she married Lonnie Stiles. He died April 17, 1985.  
Survivors include her children, Paula Polly, Terry Stiles, Sherrie Alexander and Danette Harris; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandsons; sisters, Mary Lou Meier, Jane Erickson, Carla Byrum; and brothers, Don Byer, Bob Byer, Elmer Byer and Phillip Byer; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was also preceded by her parents; one son, Johnnie Stiles; and a grandson, Brent Polly.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at Wayne Cemetery in Lewis, with Pastor Margaret Gary presiding. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, with family will receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m., at Morell Funeral Home.
